The European Union Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 (also known as ‘Market Surveillance Regulation’) will come into force on 16 th of July 2021. If you are selling toys, electronic equipment, radio equipment, energy-related products (‘ecodesign’), equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX) or prescribed products through online marketplaces or distant selling, it is mandatory for you to appoint an authorized representative(AR) as Economic Operator（EO）.
